The best thing about classes here is how close you get to your professors, so take advantage of that. Always speak with your professors if you have any concerns, they will help you out (always, somehow). The faculty really care about you and your education. Do not be so hard on yourself when you just get here - it takes time to get accustomed to 'college life.”. You will eventually feel more comfortable and confident (without even noticing it!)

I am satisfied with all my professor's knowledge and experience, they really teaching well and I like the way Southern Utah University availed resources to its students. tuition fee is way too high for me and I really find it difficult to settle my debt. Many scholarship here are not available to international students.

What the experts say about political science in the USA

  • Profile of Dr Lawrence Markowitz
    Dr Lawrence Markowitz
    Dr Lawrence Markowitz says:

Political science is the study of politics, power, and government at all levels (local, regional, national and international), dedicated to understanding practices, institutions, and relations that constitute public life.

It is also essential in developing modes of inquiry that promote citizenship that advances a more inclusive and democratic world. Studying political science in the United States - where much of the field is located - is greatly beneficial for students seeking to learn how to use theory, method, and evidence to study the political world.

Studying within the US, especially in the Philadelphia area, provides a host of great opportunities to meet Americans as well as visit nearby cities of Washington, DC, and New York City. This is also the most diverse part of the United States, where people from around the world live, study, and work.

A degree in political science is excellent preparation for any career in business, government, or other sectors that engage in public affairs. From learning about public policy, law, politics, economics, as well as how government influences trade, finance, and industry, this is a degree that will serve students in a variety of professional paths. Most people graduating with a degree in political science are successful in local, state, and national government, in careers as lawyers, as well as professional paths in business and economic fields.
  • Profile of John Garzon
    John Garzon
    John Garzon says:

There are many programs and schools to study English available in the US, which often are of high quality and prestige. As the world's oldest continuously-operating democracy, the US has a unique political system that is fascinating for international students to study.

Americans are very familiar with immigrants/international students visiting and so are very friendly and welcoming in general. A degree in English or Political Science/Politics opens many graduate school gateways, such as for law programs or to study to teach.

Using a degree in English or in Political Science/Politics is a great stepping-stone to graduate school programs, such as law or other such areas in the liberal arts, which can lead to many high-paying, prestigious jobs.
