Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is a public university located on its own island on the Texas Gulf Coast. The University has an excellent academic reputation with respected faculty, and it’s a part of the Texas A&M University System, one of the largest education systems in the US.

The University’s International Study Center is a dedicated facility for international students. It is designed to help you to gain the skills and knowledge you’ll need to succeed at A&M Corpus Christi.

It offers several pathway programs including an international year which gives you additional English language and academic support in the first year of your degree. You will then enter the second year of your chosen program with the skills you need.

You will be part of the University from your first day at the International Study Center, and have access to all the facilities on campus. You can take part in a wide range of intramural sports leagues, and the University’s varsity teams compete in the prestigious NCAA Division I.

Funding

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers scholarships to eligible international students. In order for funds to be annually disbursed, undergraduate students must be enrolled at A&M-Corpus Christi in a minimum of 30 semester credit hours in an academic year. Graduate students must complete at 18 hours or 21 hours (if a student has a major in the College of Science & Engineering) of graduate level courses in an academic year. Undergraduate and graduate students must also meet the specified scholarship requirements. Undergraduate students may receive the scholarship for a maximum of four years of undergraduate study. Graduate students may be awarded for a maximum of two years.
