The Destination Oswego Scholarship offers $9,000 per year for up to four years and is aimed specifically at students from The Bahamas and Washington, D.C., with total exceptional-scholarship packages (Destination Oswego plus additional merit aid) worth up to $15,000 annually. SUNY Oswego awards merit-based scholarships to incoming first-year students who show outstanding achievement in a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, with awards of $2,500/year (Dean's Scholarship) or $6,000/year (Presidential Scholarship), renewable for up to four years with a minimum 3.00 GPA. The university's own description of these first-year merit awards explicitly includes international applicants, and they can be stacked with other awards such as the Go Oswego Award.
