Student reviews for the University of North Alabama
UNA has become my second home. I wanted to experience the American college culture and UNA offers me everything I‘ve always dreamed of!
Transportation in UNA is good because they provide me the shuttle bus to Walmart every Sunday. However, I sometimes feel accommodation and facilities are dirty.
UNA has the best facilities that help me achieve my daily goal. The facilities are open as early as 5:30am and run through out the day mostly until 10pm. The housings are well maintained and come in different shapes and sizes. North Alabama has also provide life beyond classes, social groups and weekly events are something you don’t wanna miss. You get to interact, have fun and make friendships.
Almost everything is within walking distance, which is good (there is shuttle bus provided to get to the places which are not within walking distance). All the facilities (like gym or library) are new and well equipped. There is quite wide variety of available accommodation, so everyone can choose something that meets their individual needs. There are not many societies that students can join.
I like the international department so much lit feels like my home and the societies are really good and social life is wonderful we see American culture so closely from our friends which is the best thing and we look on various cultures of people from different countries
