The University equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in today’s fast-paced world. With more than 280 certificate, bachelor’s, and graduate programs to choose from, there’s a course to suit every interest and ambition at IWU.
Although academic excellence is a priority, the University delivers an enriching experience outside the classroom too. There are over 50 student clubs to try out, as well as ski trips, concerts, movie nights, and a packed calendar of intramural sports.
The University’s 350-acre campus is home to an outstanding array of facilities, including modern study rooms, computer labs, and residence halls. The IWU Wildcats use the University’s sports facilities to prepare for their matches in the NAIA Crossroads League.

Indiana Wesleyan University's GPA-based academic scholarships for incoming freshmen -- National Merit ($18,000/yr), President's Scholarship ($17,000/yr, GPA 4.0+), Dean's Scholarship ($14,000/yr, GPA 3.8-3.99), Faculty Scholarship ($10,000/yr, GPA 3.5-3.79), and Trustee Scholarship ($8,000/yr, GPA 3.0-3.49) -- are confirmed by the university's international aid page as available to international undergraduate students, who can receive up to $17,000 annually through these academic awards in place of or in addition to the base International Scholarship. Awards are determined by GPA at time of admission and require no separate scholarship application.
A guaranteed institutional award of $10,000 per year given automatically to first-time incoming freshman and transfer international undergraduate students at Indiana Wesleyan University -- no separate application is required. The award is renewable for up to 8 semesters as long as the student maintains full-time enrollment (fall and spring) and Satisfactory Academic Progress. It is specifically designed for non-domestic students and is replaced by an academic merit scholarship (ranging $11,000-$16,000) if the student's GPA qualifies for the higher amount, making it a baseline funding guarantee exclusively for international enrollees.

IWU is a fantastic school providing numerous academic and extracurricular opportunities. Because we are a private Christian college, there is a lot of great community with likeminded people. Furthermore, smaller class sizes leads to more interaction with fellow students and one-on-one interactions with professors.

I am so grateful that my campus is one that is well taken care of. From the resident halls to the grounds is well kept and clean. I feel like I have a lot of things to my disposal, and if it is not I can ask for information to enquire about it. The social life started out rocky. I am not a super social person, but as I got comfortable I came out my shell and found likeminded people who were willing to understand me and my culture. I feel safe in knowing that I have people in my corner who will be there for me when I need them. The international team (from the IGO office) has been so helpful with this.
