Louisiana State University (LSU) is a public research university based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. It is the state’s flagship university, and has a long and rich history dating back to 1860. LSU has a student population of more than 25,000, offering more than 235 fields of study.

The LSU Global program is available to undergraduate international students, and it combines credit-earning courses with additional academic and personal support. The University’s campus provides a wealth of facilities, including a state-of-the-art recreation center, library, student union, bookstores and a full scale oil rig for students to experience.

The University is well known for its sports teams, and Tiger Stadium is the 6th largest stadium in the world, holding more than 102,000 fans. LSU’s 16 athletics teams compete in the NCAA Division I, with fans coming from all over the state to support them. There are also more than 400 student clubs and organizations you can join, and intramural sports leagues.

Life at Louisiana State University
