Life at the University of South Carolina
As an international student on the International Accelerator Program (IAP), you will receive specialized on-campus orientation and classes that are tailored to your academic level and English language skills.
You will get picked up from the airport by IAP staff, making your first day in the US as easy as possible. You’ll also receive help choosing the right classes, with dedicated advisors and language and academic assistance available throughout your time at UofSC.
All international students are encouraged to live on campus, as this is a great way to get the true American college experience. There are more than 400 student clubs you can join on campus, as well as loads of events including a back-to-school party, trip to the State House, and volunteering opportunities.
