Scholarships at University of Connecticut (in partnership with Kaplan International)
Kaplan International Pathways offers one-off scholarships, awarded as partial tuition discounts, to international students admitted to a degree or pathway program at a Kaplan partner university in the USA, including the University of Connecticut pathway program. These awards are based on the student's previous academic achievement and can be given either in addition to, or as an alternative to, a university-awarded scholarship such as UConn's own merit award. Undergraduate pathway applicants are eligible; students should speak with a Kaplan advisor to discuss eligibility and amount.
International students who apply for Fall Year 1 undergraduate admission to the University of Connecticut (including students conditionally admitted through the UCAELI pathway program who go on to matriculate into full-time degree study) are automatically considered for a merit scholarship worth up to 38% of undergraduate tuition, totaling as much as $60,000 over four years. No separate application is required; award is based on UConn's holistic review of the admissions application (academic achievement and leadership), and is renewable annually for up to 8 semesters of full-time study provided a minimum cumulative GPA is maintained.
