Many of the professors I met in class are interested in international students. They put in more effort to communicate well with international students. It was so thankful for this. Studying environment is also good. The school has a great library, and I can print anything whatever I want in many places. One thing I want to add is the library is book searching system. There is no searching system so that I need to find the book myself. Accommodation and meal plan is more expensive than my home university even though they don’t have good quality of food or drink in the cafeteria.

Well conditioned buildings, well developed service but the location is poor to go somewhere. However, students and staff here are great.

My university is a good place to excel academically and socially. Because we believe in the practical aspect of learning, we apply what we have learned in class which makes it stick with us very well. We also work in groups a lot and build relationships through working together.

What LeTourneau University says

  • Profile of Dr Alan Clipperton
    Dr Alan Clipperton
    Dr Alan Clipperton says:

We are a small university that focuses on relationships and academics. LeTourneau University is a place for serious students that want to grow in every aspect of life. We are not a party school and we offer students a safe and peaceful environment for their education.

There are several unique things about LeTourneau University. First, we consistently rank in the top 5 universities in Texas for "Return-On-Investment". This simply means that our graduates get really good jobs after they finish at LeTourneau.

Second, our style of education is very hands-on. You will build things while you are at LeTourneau.

And, third, our program offerings are unique. We offer a comprehensive Aviation program, one of only three Materials-Joining Engineering programs in the USA, and rare degrees such as Biomedical Engineering, Cyber Security, and Environmental Engineering.

Our facilities are exceptional and state-of-the-art. Since we are a private university, the student's tuition dollars go directly to the institution and we reinvest those funds into the facilities and the students' experiences. Career prospects for students after graduation are excellent. Our overall employment rate after graduation is 97%. Very few of our graduates complete their degrees and do not have job offers waiting for them.
