California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is a public university based in the waterfront city of Long Beach, US. The University is on a mission to enhance student’s lives through innovative programs and outstanding teaching.

CSULB is part of the wider California State University system. Its eight colleges specialize in areas like business, education, engineering, and the arts. You can choose from over 150 academic programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

Home to jaw-dropping Japanese gardens and a stunning art museum, the University’s 322-acre campus is one of a kind. CSULB has also invested in a sustainable future, with a zero-energy classroom, electric car charging stations, and 156 miles of bikeways.

CSULB offers a complete college experience. With a bowling alley, arcade, and movie theater, the Students’ Union is the perfect place to chill out. If you’re into fitness and intramural sports, head down to the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

    $16,392 per year

Funding

Study California Scholarship

The Study California Scholarship will be awarded each fall to five international students planning to continue at a Study California member institution

  • Amount

    The amount of each award will vary from year-to-year but will be $1,000.00 per student. The scholarship is not renewable. The award will be in the form of a check made payable to the student and is intended to be used for educational purposes (tuition, fees, books, supplies). Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than December 31st and awards will be disbursed shortly afterward after verification of full-time enrollment.

  • Requirements

    Scholarship recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic ability, financial need, and leadership qualities. Scholarship applicants must have a minimum cumulative/overall GPA of 3.0 in their most recent academic program. Only students who have not yet been awarded the Study California Scholarship are eligible.
