Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is a public university based in the US state of Alabama’s capital, Montgomery. AUM was founded in 1967 and aims to prepare students for successful careers by fostering a collaborative learning environment.
The University offers more than 90 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs through its five main schools; liberal arts, business, education, nursing and health science, and sciences. AUM’s campus is set across 500 acres and offers students a range of top facilities and housing options.
AUM’s sports teams now compete in NCAA Divison II in 11 varsity sports including men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, soccer and tennis. There is also a range of intramural sports you can take part in, as well as more than 60 over student clubs and organizations.

Awards $2,000 per year ($1,000 for each fall and spring semester) toward out-of-state tuition for international undergraduate students at AUM. Incoming freshmen qualify with a high school GPA of 2.75 or higher, or with English proficiency scores of TOEFL iBT 68+, TOEFL ITP/PBT 520+, or IELTS 6.0+; transfer/exchange students need a 2.75+ GPA. This lower tier of the international scholarship program is open to students paying full out-of-state tuition, including international undergraduates, across the same range of undergraduate programs.
Awards $4,000 per year ($2,000 for each fall and spring semester) toward out-of-state tuition for international undergraduate students at AUM. Incoming freshmen qualify with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, or with English proficiency scores of TOEFL iBT 76+, TOEFL ITP/PBT 540+, or IELTS 6.5+; transfer/exchange students need a 3.0+ GPA. It is offered explicitly to students who pay full out-of-state (international) tuition across Science, Arts, Nursing and Health Science, Education, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and Business programs.
