Business Analytics program structure

Business analytics is available in a range of countries at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You can earn a BSc over three or four years, but some universities offer business analytics as a BA qualification. There is usually very little difference between the two programs, but the BSc may include more modules in areas like mathematics and statistics.

If you study business analytics in the USA, you can choose it as your major concentration. You’ll study general studies and other minor subjects alongside business analytics modules over four years.

If you already hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and want to improve your employability, you can study for a master’s over one or two years. MSc programs in business analytics are more widely available than bachelor’s courses and are a popular option for those with business degrees that want to improve and broaden their knowledge.

Teaching on a business analytics program can include lectures and seminars, as well as time spent in computer labs and workshops. You’ll be assessed through a combination of things like essays, presentations, exams and project work.
