Student reviews for California State University, East Bay
California State University East Bay is one of the most diverse colleges in US. The professors are simply great. My CS professors have quickly adapted to the online mode with 3 days during the rise of covid. Almost all working staff support students to do their best academically and engage socially. The CSUEB shuttle helps me to go Hayward Bart whenever I wish to go. The HOPE pantry helps me save money on my food expenses. My classmates and professors are always encouraging and give me the spirit to put in my best.
Facilities are good. All of them are very helpful. Advisors send email and regular updates.
The university campus is amazing. We have a very good interaction with professors. The transport is okay. It feels really nice to meet people from different countries, share course work and projects with them.
As per the current scenario, social life is very much disturbed, But thanks to the university’s virtual seminars that are held related to various topics like women empowerment and other, so we can even socialize virtually. Coming to the transport links, the most I like is the CSUEB shuttle service, which comes just at the bart station and drops you at the university which minimizes our walking. Also what mesmerizes me is the university library facilities, lending laptops so that student can work on it throughout the semester. There are also several other facilities provided by the university which has amazed me a lot. And I must say that by choosing this university, I have indeed made a right decision.
