The University of Windsor (UWindsor) is a comprehensive, student-focused university located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. They offer a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs including several professional schools, including law, business, engineering, education, nursing, human kinetics and social work.

UWindsor offers students award-winning faculty and innovative staff, with comparatively small class sizes and a variety of student services, clubs and associations. The University overlooks the Detroit River, and is situated in Canada’s southernmost city close to the US border. The campus is only minutes from Windsor and downtown Detroit; two cities that offer students plenty of things to see and do.

Life at the University of Windsor

The International Student Centre (ISC) is the place to go for any help or support you need as an international student at UWindsor. Their staff is on hand to provide continuous support to help with things like academic and personal concerns, study permit or visa renewal, and work permit applications.

They also offer a Soft Landing Program that’s designed to make your arrival and transition to studying in Canada as smooth as possible. This includes drop-in sessions, international student orientation, and a city bus tour of the city to help you get to know the local area.

The University offers over 100 student clubs, organizations, academic and Greek societies on campus that are a great way to get to know new people and help you integrate in to life at Windsor.
