Study abroad at Trine University

Located in Angola, Indiana, and formerly known as Tri-State University, Trine is a private, non-profit university. It offers degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the arts and sciences, business, education and engineering.

Their 450-acre main campus is located in picturesque Steuben County, and includes residence halls and apartment-style campus housing, award-winning dining commons, and a championship golf course that’s hosted PGA events and NCAA national championships.

Trine has more than 60 clubs and student organizations, including five sororities and eight fraternities. The Universities sports teams are known as the Thunder, and are a member of NCAA Division III. They compete in a number of sports including ice hockey, softball, lacrosse, basketball, and golf among others.

Additional financial aid is available on needs-base, on top of the merit scholarships. It depends on parents/guardians income, and you'll need to fill in a form provided by the University.

Scholarships for transfer students are also available ranging from $10,000 - 16,000.

Trine University was the best choice I made. It is such a beautiful campus with even greater people. The community is so welcoming and warming that you feel like you are at home. There is always something to do when it comes to social activities. I was highly involved with different organizations that allowed me to grow academically and socially.
