Student reviews for Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences
The lecturers are fairly good at ther expertise. However, the university has been not performing well in terms of administration and ethical consideration.
It's a small University with enthusiasm to provide European education to students. It strives to give more to student but lacks in many factors like management, planning and execution.
The University has big classrooms that can be used by minimum 30 students and a lecturer providing good lectures who mastered the art of teaching. The school offers a project week after every block which helps student to learn how to work in groups and tackle different topics. It offers a library too and a bar where students and lecturers can meet up some time and enjoy together but due to covid-19 the gatherings have not been happening. Most of the students live at a sport campus called FSG campus which has 3 floors. It offers rooms; internet connection, bathrooms and a kitchen with all the equipment. Students have a choice between single rooms or double rooms where you can share a room with someone else and save some money, the bathrooms are shared too every floor has its own bathrooms. The girls have their own bathroom and the boys have their own bathrooms too. The most common used transport is bikes people travel by bikes mostly whether they're going to class or anywhere really but for people who don't know how to ride bikes or are not comfortable they can still take the bus which is going to get you where you want to go.
I think the facilities and accommodation are limited which leads to an overall smaller campus when compared to even other small universities of applied sciences. The social life greatly depends on the area a student lives in. This is largely because the university does not have one big campus accommodation but smaller accommodations spread across the city. This can sometimes make socializing difficult.
I think this is one of the best university in Netherlands. Because the university provides the best service in admission for international students. They provide well furnished room and suitable rooms against student's requirements. Also this university has faster communication methods than others. When they get emails from a student, as soon as possible they reply to the student and sometimes they call the student for query and others services. Also new students have no need to worry about transportation. Because the university gives a proper transportation for them to reach their destination. Last but not least is social life of the university is very charming. Student can contact easily with their teachers and administration by the social network.
