Student reviews for Abertay University
The Accommodation is 5 minutes away from University and is very good. The University's MyAbertay website offers great information about upcoming events and other important stuff (plus it is easy to understand).
No school bus, clubs and societies could be a bit more fleshed out.
The University is amazing with state-of-the-art facilities, constantly being upgraded. The accommodations made available by the University and by private companies for university students are quite nice and well kept. There is plenty of communication between students and lecturers as well. There is a drop in zone to get immediate help or at least you get pointed in the correct direction. There are societies for all walks of life from sport, to video games, to drama and more. Transportation around Dundee is efficient and easy to use. Always on time. A social life is easy to have as most of classes are based on out of class study and most areas are communal areas so you are always around people. There is also plenty to do around Dundee. It is also very easy to see more of the country as there are city link buses running everyday, a big rail station just in the middle of town.
The uni has decent facilities, although lacking in some places. It's very acessible and sociable thank to the societies.
Abertay university is an excellent place to study, it’s small enough that lecturers are able to spend more time with fewer in a class. There are a wide range of societies and sports clubs which was great to get to know people.
