Scholarships at New York Institute of Technology
New York Tech automatically reviews every incoming first-year application for merit-based awards such as the Presidential Scholarship, Theodore K. Steele Memorial Scholarship, Merit Scholarships, and Academic Achievement Awards. For international undergraduate applicants specifically, these awards range from about $20,000 to $31,000 per year based on GPA and academic record, and are renewable for up to four years provided the required cumulative GPA is maintained. The university's own scholarships page explicitly lists a separate award range for international students (distinct from the U.S./permanent resident range), confirming that non-domestic first-year undergraduates are eligible without needing FAFSA or a separate scholarship application.
The International Leadership Scholarship is New York Tech's premier award for incoming international undergraduate students, valued at more than $190,000 and covering full tuition (excluding room and board) for four years of full-time study. It was created specifically to recognize and support talented international students, so eligibility is explicitly limited to first-year, full-time international applicants. Candidates must hold a GPA of 3.5 or higher, submit a one-page essay on their leadership qualities and future goals, document 25-50 hours of community service or volunteer work, and provide two recommendation letters (one from a volunteer supervisor and one from an educator or administrator).

Student reviews for New York Institute of Technology
My school has many activities and is close to transport links. The only pity is that we do not have a campus. Next year we will be moving to another address with better facilities.
I consider the Master of Science in Cybersecurity (M.S.-Cybersecurity) program at the New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver (NYIT) to be internationally recognized for its multifaceted education and high success rate of graduating students. There, students learn to critically evaluate various technological solutions in order to limit risk and mitigate the effects of malicious and hostile action by electronic threats while studying concepts of algorithms, risk management and recovery from attacks. The program covers the design, implementation, and maintenance of hardware and software tools to support network security on various types of operating systems.
NYIT offers great structure and facilities and students have all necessary resources to go deep into the subject being studied. However, some professors are below the level expected from as masters course and don't seem to care.
Administration officials are good, small and friendly communities.
NYIT has a variety of ways to teach In-person, Online, or Blended that are adaptive to the needs of the situation and students. They always reach out to the needs and welfare of their students by constantly reminding them of any school, weather, or job updates. They also looking to improve through their surveys and feedback portal.
