The University offers 48 undergraduate and 50 master's programs across the faculties of business, computing and engineering, humanities and social sciences, and science and health - there’s a course for every taste.

DCU’s three academic campuses are just a stone’s throw away from each other. Each campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including modern labs, extensive libraries, and impressive sports venues.

Funding

DCU Merit Scholarships (Year 1) The International Merit Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate applicants based on the strength of their application and pays €2,000 towards the first year of tuition.

DCU International Merit Scholarship The International Merit Scholarship is awarded to postgraduate applicants based on the strength of their application and pays €2,000 towards tuition fees.

Government of Ireland Scholarships The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship is awarded by the Irish Government to 60 Non-EU students who will study at an Irish University. It pays full tuition for a year of full-time undergraduate, master's, or PhD studies and a €10,000 stipend. It is not awarded or judged by DCU.

The students must hold an offer from an Irish University to apply.

Fee information

Life at Dublin City University

The University is home to over 18,000 students, 20% of whom are from overseas. International students can expect a high-quality academic experience in a vibrant cosmopolitan European capital city, with opportunities to experience Ireland's unique culture.

There are over 140 student clubs and societies available for international students to join. Students can attend numerous events on campus like concerts, comedy gigs, theatre performances, and lots more - boredom will be a thing of the past.

You’ll then participate in a comprehensive orientation week to help you settle in. The schedule normally includes campus tours, sightseeing excursions, and lots of fun events where you can meet fellow students.

The University’s International office can tell you everything you need to know about accommodation, funding, visas, and lots more. DCU is also home to Ireland’s first inter-faith center. The center hosts daily services for all faiths, as well as several religious celebrations throughout the year.
