Dublin is a vibrant student location, with more than 100,000 students living within the city. It has lots to offer inside and outside of universities, with hundreds of pubs, excellent museums, historic architecture and world famous institutions.
The city is located on the east coast of Ireland, and is the country’s capital and cultural hub. It has great transport links to the rest of the country, and easy access by air to the rest of Europe, making it a great location for international students who want to get out and explore.

If you live in the EU / EEA you won’t have to pay any tuition fees at many universities in Ireland, but fees for other international students can range between $10,000 and $50,000 for an undergraduate degree.
Dublin is regarded as an expensive city to live in, and has been ranked the most expensive city in Europe in the past. Accommodation is particularly expensive, so you’ll need to budget carefully, but you could save by living on campus.
Once you’ve chosen the program you want to study and the university you’d like to attend, you’ll need to apply. Each institution will also have its own application system, and you'll usually need to apply directly to the international office of your chosen institution, either online or through the post.
As well as completing an application form, you’ll also need to provide a personal statement and transcripts of your education. You may also need to attend an interview depending on the university and program you want to study.
Dublin is a great student-friendly city; it has everything you might need, but it is very easy to get by. Making it a comfortable and safe city. In addition, the city is very pretty and lively, so there are always new things to do and discover.
Dublin is great, it's a lively capital city but is not overwhelmingly big, it is easy to walk everywhere, which is great.
Dublin is a very friendly city and I absolutely love it here. Transport is not the best but as it isn't a huge place this doesn't matter too much. The nightlife is great, lots of pubs and clubs and things. There's a good range of shopping and nice parks etc. Like any city it has some dodgy areas / aspects but it isn't a significant problem and people are generally pretty safe.
Dublin is a very nice and vibrant city. There is a very happening social life and lots of students and young working professionals. There are lots of clubs and pubs around the city and the people here are very friendly as well.
Dublin is definitely a very safe and welcoming city. It is so easy to get around, either by walking or by taking various modes of transportation, and my favorite part about the city is the amount of parks that it has, which offer a quiet reprieve from the bustle of the city. There are so many historical monuments and museums that there is always something new to see on the weekends and it is very convenient to be right in the center of the action at Trinity's campus.
