Hospitality Management degrees abroad
A degree in hospitality management will give you a well rounded understanding of the business and management concepts needed to work in the hospitality industry. Hospitality covers a range of areas including hotels, restaurants, and bars, and is one of the world’s biggest industries, employing more than 200 million people.

Hospitality Management program structure
Hospitality management degrees are available at all undergraduate levels, and are often offered as foundation degrees, or certificate programs. It is also possible to study hospitality at bachelor’s level over three or four years, and master’s degrees are available lasting one or two years.
If you are studying in the US, hospitality management can be studied as a major at bachelor’s level, but it is also often offered as part of a more general business degree. Many hospitality degrees are also offered combined with another area, for example hospitality and tourism, or hospitality and event management.
A lot of your time while studying hospitality management will be spent in lectures and classes, but most programs also include placements in relevant industries so you can get firsthand experience. You’ll be assessed through written reports, essays and project work.
