Student reviews for chemical engineering in the USA
My instructors were very understanding and taught the subject very well. The workload was managable. When I think back to when I was at Lane, I don’t recall having to do homework all the time. I was a tutor at the science resource center so I know that the students always have free access to tutoring that is very helpful.
I am a PhD. student in the department of chemical engineering. I joined my program in Fall 2019 and I received full funding at Rowan to support my tuition fees. The extremely qualified and helpful professors at Rowan makes the study experience even more enjoyable. What makes the engineering curriculum at Rowan unique is it's Clinic program. These clinic programs are funded by industrial and governmental organizations such as National Science Foundation NSF and US. Environmental Protection Agency EPA. It introduces students to real world problems which the society and the industry needs to solve. This enables the students to apply the theoretical concepts and class learning to real world scenarios.
Some lecturers are great, some are not. Some lecturers were very demanding but did not explain a course really well, whereas some instructors were well organized, and explained subjects in easy understandable ways.
I dont find the lectures that professional. The course structure is very flexible. Tuition is very expensive. Resources are available easily and the workload is good.
Rowan is good place for undergraduate students and all related programs are good while they offer the unplanned program for graduate student especially about financial support.
