Marketing Management degrees abroad

Marketing managers are responsible for the advertising and promotion of a company’s products or services. It’s their job to conduct market research, implement strategies, and develop campaigns.

You’ll study various marketing theories and models, including those related to topics like consumer psychology, branding, and business communications. You’ll then put what you’ve learned into practice by working on real-life client briefs. You’ll graduate with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in today’s fast-paced marketing landscape.

By earning your degree abroad, you’ll see how organizations around the world use different marketing strategies to achieve success in the global marketplace. It’s also an invaluable opportunity to network with professionals, enhance your employability, and make lifelong memories.

Marketing Management program structure

You can study marketing management at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels. Two-year associate degrees provide students with a detailed introduction to the field and are an excellent stepping stone into entry-level employment or enrollment in a bachelor’s program.

Bachelor’s degrees are normally studied over three or four years, depending on the university you choose. They’re offered as both BA and BSc courses. The two classifications cover largely the same content, but you’ll likely take more mathematical classes if you opt for a BSc.

Once you’ve achieved your undergraduate degree, you can go on to pursue a postgraduate qualification. A master’s degree can be studied over one or two years, followed by a PhD which requires at least four years of study.

You’ll spend most of your contact time in lectures, seminars, group workshops, and tutorials. Most universities will use a combination of exams, essays, case study analyses, presentations, and group projects to assess your progress.

The exact content of marketing management programs differs from university to university. However, most programs provide students with a robust grounding in these key areas:

  • Foundations of marketing
  • Trends in consumer behavior
  • Strategic marketing
  • Business law and ethics
  • Professional sales approaches
  • Principles of advertising
  • Digital marketing essentials
  • International marketing strategies
