Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is Canada’s only polytechnic university. The University is committed to providing students with the academic knowledge and practical expertise they’ll need to achieve career success and fulfillment.
Students can choose from over 120 certificate, diploma, citation, and bachelor’s programs in subjects including fashion, product design, business, and horticulture. Many of these programs are exclusive to KPU and cannot be found at other Canadian institutions.
KPU is made up of five campuses across the Greater Vancouver area. Each campus is equipped with modern classrooms, state-of-the-art studios, athletic venues, faith centers, and high-tech laboratories.

KPU Major Entrance Scholarships Students who applied for admission to KPU for the first time in the Spring or Fall semester are invited to apply for KPU Major entrance scholarships and donor-funded entrance awards. Entrance Award applicants will be short-listed and ranked by the Scholarships & Awards Selection Committee, based on the criteria of each award. Award payment is subject to admission and confirmation of enrolment (minimum 12 credits per semester) and final marks of eligible candidates, prior to the disbursement of the award. A minimum CGPA of 3.0 or greater is required for continuance purposes.

Alongside this professional support, KPU runs a global buddy program. This is where more senior students are paired up with incoming international students. Your buddy will usually get in touch before you leave your home country and collect you from the airport.

We take pride in offering affordable education to our students. At KPU, there is no price difference between faculties, and all programs are calculated based on the number of credits. We also work closely with industry partners and organizations to ensure that our graduates are well prepared to enter the workforce.
KPU is Canada's only polytechnic university. We focus on hands-on skills, in addition to traditional academics. Many of our programs include work experience terms, practicums, or cooperative education options and 88% of our undergraduate credential programs offer work-integrated learning opportunities.

We offer more than 30 student services including academic advising, career development services, counseling, sport & recreation, indigenous services, free inter-campus shuttle, student clubs and organizations, and many more to help students succeed throughout their educational journey.
