The M.B.A. program supports students’ career advancement by preparing them for positions of leadership in an increasingly diverse and globally competitive economy. The program is centered on the rigorous knowledge of the basic functional areas of business, an appreciation of management challenges in a global context, and opportunities to develop students’ interpersonal and executive leadership skills. The Marketing Management concentration prepares students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a marketing career. The concentration offers a series of up-to-date courses with a strong emphasis on experiential learning. Students are trained to think conceptually and apply the concepts and tools in a practical manner. In addition, the thrust of the option is to encourage creative solutions to marketing problems.
