    Dr Khataza Jessie Wheatley says

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is popular among international students because it offers strong job prospects in any country and a good salary in most countries upon completion. The demand for BSNs in the United States is high as the current generation retires, meaning there are lots of job opportunities across the US.

Choosing to study nursing at our University will allow the opportunity to study in state-of-the-art clinical facilities and train under the guidance of leading lecturers in the field. As an international student nurse, you will train in acute care hospitals, hospice care centers and outreach clinics.

Studying nursing in the US allows for the opportunity to learn from nurse educators who are nurse experts, and allows students to be surrounded by professionals from various cultural, ethnic, religious, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.

As a US-educated nurse, you can work in acute care hospitals, hospice care centers and outreach clinics in most countries after undergoing their licensure and credentialing process.

The best academic experience has been at IWU! I transferred here after completing my Math degree and I am so amazed by the care my professors have for me. They truly want me to succeed. They keep up with how I am doing and is willing to make sure I have the resources so that I can exceed my potential.
It is a very demanding program and the work load is heavy, but you will receive quality education. It pushes you to dive deeper into what God has called you to be. There were times I cried and doubted my ability but through the tears I found strength, and the success is very rewarding.

As a senior nursing student, I know that my education here has shaped me to be a good nurse. If you put in the work, the professors give you the things you need to succeed. The professors are kind and want to know more about your life. They are approachable and willing to answer questions. The way that the nursing program is set up is beneficial to the learning process as the clinical sites vary so you get different opportunities to gain hands on experience during your education. The workload can be a lot at times but I do my best and I succeed. I transferred to be here so I’ve experienced different programs and I absolutely prefer the Indiana Wesleyan Program. It has a good reputation.

    Hesston College Nursing

I would say that I’m enjoying my College life and making fun memories. What I found after joining Hesston College is that professors can make a big difference in students life. I have loved my professors, they are caring, always willing to help us succeed, and they provide one on one meeting to discuss about our concerns about the course, and the difficulties that we are having. The College also provides free tutoring, study group, and writing fellows to help students who are struggling with classes, and pre-review their papers before submission. The College also provides scholarships which really helps. The things that reinforce me to join Hesston College is good scholarships and good nursing program.
