Corvinus University of Budapest has a 120-year history and is the leading university in Hungary in business and management, economics, and social sciences. The University has two main campus locations: the traditional campus in Budapest, and a site in Székesfehérvár where students can study dual courses.

You can study degree programs at bachelor’s, master’s, MBA, and doctoral levels. A range of business-related programs is available like international business, applied economics, business management, and many more.

The main campus in Budapest is made up of stunning traditional and modern buildings, offering a range of learning facilities for students like computer labs and a library.

The University also offers a number of student organizations you can join and meet other like-minded students. There are also several sports clubs you can join, and the University has a gym and exercise classes students can use.

Life as an international student

You won’t feel out of place at Corvinus, with around 2,000 international students from 95 countries studying at the University. It’s a truly international and diverse institution.

There are 20 programs taught in English at undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive levels to choose from. The University also has 300 global university partners in research, student, and staff exchange agreements.

The International and Administrative Student Services team is on hand to help you on your journey. You’ll also have a dedicated program coordinator who will guide you through your time at Corvinus, from registration to graduation.

All students have access to counseling support, career support, and learning support whenever they need it. Accommodation is available for more than 1,000 students across three dormitories. Rooms all have WiFi, and access to things like cleaning facilities, gyms, and common rooms.

Stipendium Hungaricum

Stipendium Hungaricum is the most prestigious higher education scholarship program of the Hungarian Government. Within the program, Corvinus University of Budapest offers a wide range of programs for international students with excellent academic track records.

This scholarship covers the full tuition fee and living expenses.


Diaspora scholarship holders can receive tuition fees and allowances or dormitory placement upon Tempus Public Foundation’s approval of the funding.
