Study in Utica

All the information you need about studying in Utica as an international student.

Why study in Utica?

Utica is a US city located in the Mohawk Valley area of the state of New York. It is a diverse and multicultural city, and is home to a number of colleges and universities, giving it a strong student population. There’s plenty in the city for students to enjoy, including an internationally-recognized arts center, Utica Zoo, theaters and museums.

The city also boasts several parks, a municipal golf course, and an urban ski slope that offers skiing, snowboarding, skating and tubing. Utica is well located for students that want to get out and explore - Albany is around 90 minutes by car, or New York and Boston are both within a four-hour drive.

For me, the city is the problem. I don't feel safe to be honest and it is really cold. Also, you cannot do anything without a car which is a big problem for international students.
