: We maximize your chance of getting admitted to your chosen universities

The smart alternative to applying direct for a degree in Tallahassee and the easy way to find programs that match your eligibility and aspirations

Why study in Tallahassee?

Tallahassee is the capital city of the US state of Florida, and is known as a popular student city. It’s home to a number of well respected universities, and boasts a student population of more than 70,000. The pace of life is considered pretty slow in Tallahassee, but that doesn’t mean there’s not plenty to see and do.

Located in the north of the state, Tallahassee perhaps has more in common with the Deep South than the rest of Florida. There are a host of museums in the city, and there are a number of festivals and events that take place throughout the year. It has its own international airport that connects Tallahassee to several major cities in the USA including Charlotte, Tampa and Washington.

Tallahassee is a very quiet town, therefore you may have to join organizations or clubs to get the full experience. There are numerous bus apps to guide you and you can ride the city buses for free with your FAMU ID. There are many shops close to campus as well.

Tallahassee is a college town. It might be boring sometimes but I really like it so far because I stay in a quiet area that's really far away from night life.

Tallahassee is a relatively small and quiet city. There are some decent places to go out at night with friends too, but not a huge amount of options. Some parts of the city do have issues with crime but I have not experienced any first-hand thankfully.
