      Glassboro is safe. I walked around campus at night feeling safe. There's walgreens, 7 eleven right by campus and shoprite, aldi etc nearby.

      Glassboro isn't a major city, its a small campus town in southern new jersey. It's mostly serviced by NJ Transit buses to camden. It's a bit hectic to travel to it from anywhere else. There are plenty of food outlets and malls near the university so thats a bonus. There isn't much of a nightlife in this area.

      The Rowan university situated in Gloucester county, Glassboro is close to major cities such as New York and Washington DC making the long weekends really fun and refreshing. The city does not have a very convenient public transportation facilities which sometimes seems to be a hurdle. An advantage of staying in Glassboro is that you have nothing else to distract you from your studies during the week. The weekends can be fun by visiting the nearby places such as Atlantic City.

      Close to Philadelphia which is great. The city of Stratford however is very boring.

      I live in Philadelphia that is the closest city from my university, city have amazing local transportation so students can travel through public transportation and also university is offering discount for their students for bus passes. In Philadelphia there are lots of places were you can get relaxation and this city is close to New York and Washington DC so this is best thing about Philadelphia. I love this city and I’m really enjoying it here.
