I remember the first time I heard about Bucks. I thought it was amazing they provide societies and many other events for free. And it didn't disappoint me. Another reason I went for Bucks was the fact I met a girl who studies the same course I was interested in. After all her experiences she told me she has, I was sure, I was going to love it.
Once I got here to the campus itself...I was speechless! Modern building where is always something new to see (and explore too). I never thought I would start to spend my free time at place such as school facility. I love to attend the gym, the library, the cafés, the studios related to my course, so I can actually work on myself and more!
My experience overall to summarize, it is something I would have never gotten anywhere else!

The university has a modern campus with the most recent addition being the Gateway building featuring a state of the art library, computer labs, a lecture theatre, gym and flight simulator for the aviation students.
They have 3 options for accommodation which are appropriately priced and well taken care of. I have experience living in the Hughenden Park Student Village which is fairly new accommodation where a further extension is planned in the future. It is a 15 minute walk from the campus and conveniently located next to a Morrisons. The rooms are all in a good state and feature all the essentials, the same goes for the shared kitchenettes. Each flat has 6 rooms and you'll usually just about manage to squeeze everyone's belongings into the fridges and cupboards of the kitchen.
There is a train station in the town and this gives good links to London, Oxford and Birmingham. There is also a decent bus network in the town which can take you to other smaller villages or corners of High Wycombe. There is an Aylesbury campus of BNU which is also connected by bus to the High Wycombe campus.
The social life is particularly good with the SU hosting a variety of events for students to partake in, whether it might be a themed evening at the bar or a sport for fun taster where transport will be provided to centres for rock climbing and even skiing.
There are plenty of societies at the Uni and they are very supportive of new societies too, offering funding once you have recruited a few members. Essentially if there isn't a society for your hobby or interest, you can easily create one with and for likeminded students.

At Bucks we can find all the support that we need, we have many facilities there, we have the societies as well where you can find one to fit your choice, there are the accomodations which I think it is very interesting for the first year, to make some friends who you can go to the student union parties and socials, and there is a uni bus that connect the uxbridge campus to the High Wycombe campus.

Good transport links between campuses, very good facilities, large library & nursing library on campus. There were plenty of societies available to students. Communication between staff and students could be improved. The student union offered a great deal of support to students.
