Glasgow International College (GIC) offers degree preparation courses in partnership with the University of Glasgow. The College enables international students who don’t meet all program requirements to study for a foundation certificate or pre-master’s program before starting at the University. The College is integrated into the University’s main campus, giving students an idea of what to expect when they transition to a degree.
GIC allows you to experience student life in Glasgow, a vibrant and exciting city in Scotland. Your program will be based on the University’s campus, and you have access to student accommodation in the city alongside other international students.
According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, 2020

The student services team at Glasgow International College will make sure you feel welcome on your arrival to Glasgow and can support you throughout your studies.
During welcome week, you will be shown around the University facilities, and meet the staff who you will be in contact with during your time at the university. You’ll be guided through practical steps such as opening a bank account and registering with a doctor.
There are regular social opportunities organized for you such as sports tournaments, trips to UK cities, treasure hunts, creative writing, and arts and crafts workshops.
