      Kristianstad is a small city in the south of Sweden that is cozy and relaxing. It is not a busy place, such as Stockholm, and I find it to be just the perfect amount of people. Coming from the USA, a difference I noticed here is shops close early and there is not a store that is open 24 hours a day, like Walmart in the USA as an example. This took me time to get used to, but once I got into my routine and understood when places closed, I didn't need to go to a store at 1am for snacks anymore. For the safety of this city, I would say from the many places I have been too, this city is very safe. Nothing really crazy happens here and the Swedish residents keep to themselves and I feel free to live how I want here. Nightlife, due to Covid, is not that exciting, but at the beginning when I was here some clubs were still open, and I enjoyed them. I think there are only a few places to go out in Kristianstad, but the accommodations are the many places students hangout because alcohol and food is costly in Sweden, in my opinion, so going out is expensive at times as a student. However, we all make the most of it and I have the best times here in this city. I find it to be a cute place to live, as well as many local businesses to support in the city center.
