    Dr Virginia Bunn Guneyli says

SCC is just 20 minutes away from an American city known for its music, sport, food, and parks, St. Louis, Missouri. While close to the action, SCC's campus is tucked away in Cottleville, a safe and beautiful area, where students enjoy the campus and on-campus housing, the idyllic main street with its wineries and shops just behind the campus, and running and cycling trails, and parks and activities along the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers.

The area is diverse and the cost of living is affordable, which is what attracted MasterCard, Boeing, Enterprise, Citi, Worldwide Technologies, and other global corporations, and also small businesses, shop owners, restaurants, breweries, and artists to the region.

Besides the on-campus housing, which is brand new, and the safe and beautiful region, SCC offers a variety of liberal arts programs and transfer pathways to universities.

The International Student Services department maintains close ties to the international students, even celebrating students' birthdays and milestones with them. In fact, the staff have had their own international experiences, so they understand. The faculty members are accomplished, and SCC's sports teams are breaking records each year. The theatre department is renowned, as is the art program and gallery. For approximately $6,000 a year in tuition, SCC is an amazing opportunity.

The campus consists of 15 modern buildings on the 228-acre main campus, and two state-of-the-art buildings on the second campus in Dardenne Prairie. SCC offers comprehensive services (mental health counseling, tutoring, career counseling, student life, a bookstore, a library and learning resource center, a scholarship Foundation, and more), and international services are funneled through ISS.

In 2015-16 alone, the SCC Workforce Development Department served more than 31,740 participants. The college helped 39 companies gain access to $1.1 million in Missouri customized training funds. International students get one year of optional practical training to work in the United States after graduating with an associate's and before beginning their bachelor's.
