"The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting is designed for a student that has completed a bachelor's degree and has decided to further their education by pursuing the CPA accounting designation. The program will allow students to obtain the required accounting courses to then be accepted into the accounting professional program. The program aims to provide the skill sets identified by CPA Canada as critical to achieve competency as a CPA. The program will allow students to develop strong technical skills in financial reporting, management accounting, strategy and governance, audit and assurance, finance and taxation. It will also ensure the development of the required enabling competencies of the profession: professionalism, ethical behaviour, written and oral communication, leadership, and problem solving. Students can choose between two program options. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting consists of fifteen courses (51 credits). The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Accounting with Cooperative Education option consists of seventeen courses (61 credits) Note: This is a two-year program, though students can choose to complete the program in an accelerated form."

KPU Major Entrance Scholarships Students who applied for admission to KPU for the first time in the Spring or Fall semester are invited to apply for KPU Major entrance scholarships and donor-funded entrance awards. Entrance Award applicants will be short-listed and ranked by the Scholarships & Awards Selection Committee, based on the criteria of each award. Award payment is subject to admission and confirmation of enrolment (minimum 12 credits per semester) and final marks of eligible candidates, prior to the disbursement of the award. A minimum CGPA of 3.0 or greater is required for continuance purposes.
