"Simmons University’s Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Promotion program is designed to help students develop an advanced understanding of nutrition, fitness, and wellness. The program provides training in nutrition science and health promotion strategies to prepare students to be leaders in the dynamic field of nutrition.
Simmons undergraduate students studying Nutrition, Biology, Exercise Science, or Public Health can complete the accelerated BS/MS program in five years, receiving a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in nutrition. You'll save on tuition when you complete program prerequisites in your first three years and take two graduate courses in your senior year.
This program allows students interested in nutrition to obtain a BS in nutrition and a MS in nutrition and health promotion in an accelerated five-year program. If accepted, students will work with her advisor, to plan to take SNHS 410 Research Methods and SNHS 450 The Health Care System: Interdisciplinary Perspectives during the fall and spring of her senior year, respectively."
Applicants to bachelor’s degree programs must have obtained a secondary school diploma that is eligible for further academic studies in the country where it was earned.
All applicants for whom English is not their first language must submit proof of English proficiency to be considered for admission:
First-year students where English is the language of instruction for the entirety of their secondary school education (3-4 years) AND who have not taken any ESL/ELL classes in 11th or 12th grades have satisfied the University's English proficiency requirement.
