What Florida Atlantic University says about their program:
"The Bachelor of Arts in Music is a degree that balances a general study of music with elective coursework in the liberal arts and humanities, providing a well-rounded liberal-arts-based educational experience for students wishing to pursue a variety of academic interests. This makes the B.A. in Music an excellent program for students wishing to double major. However, students in the B.A. in Music are not eligible to enroll in the Commercial Music minor or to double major in degree programs from the College of Education. This degree program requires 120 credits. Students must complete the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters B.A. foreign language requirement.
Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Music program are also eligible to apply for a combined degree program, earning their B.A. in Music as well as a Masters of Nonprofit Management in only five years. This is a particularly valuable opportunity for students wishing to work with non-profit music organizations, such as symphony orchestras, opera companies, museums, and music festivals."
These are general admission requirements, these may vary for each program. Please check the academic requirements that apply to your specific program.
