What ESRA International Film School says about their program:
"ESRA International is launching a three-year English-language Filmmaking program in Paris composed of lectures, workshops, short film projects and professional internships. The 3 Year program offers students a chance to perfect their skills through two more years of study, as they prepare to enter the professional world of film and television, and students must choose a specialization the third year, in one of five branches: Fiction Filmmaking, TV Production, Cinematography, Editing / Visual Effects, and Production."
We will guide you through the application procedure; please see the details below.
A high school degree and/or university or another academic diploma is required. If you are currently a last year student in high school, send an official enrollment letter from your school stating your academic level and expected date of graduation.
Applicants must have a good level of conversational and written English. You must provide standardized English testing results (preference for TOEFL, but IELTS and TOEIC can also be considered).
You do not have to justify your level of English if you are:
Pick and name a movie you choose to analyze. Write a short analysis of the 10 first minutes of the movie of your choice
If an ESRA International program is fully enrolled (20 to 30 students per class), a few scholarships will be offered to students to cover part of their tuition fees (an average of 15%), on the basis of merit and of financial need. Only applicants who have sent a full application will be considered for the scholarships, which are only for students who cannot, even with the financial assistance of their parents or guardians, afford to pay full tuition. Scholarships cover school tuition, not accommodation or travel expenses, which students must be able to cover.
Many international students will require a visa to study in France, and this is a vital step of your study abroad journey. Make sure you understand the requirements you may need to meet before applying.
