How to study in Paris
Before you start the application process, you need to decide on the program you want to study in Paris, and choose the universities you’d like to study at. If you are from outside the EU / EEA, you may need to apply for your chosen program through an online application system called the “study in France” procedure.
You’ll also need to make sure you have a student visa before you can study in France. You should apply for this once you’ve been accepted onto your program.
Cost to study in Paris
Tuition fees in France for public universities are set by the French government, so are the same across the country. As an international student, you will pay €2,770 euros per year for a bachelor’s program (around $3,100), or €3,770 euros per year for a master’s program ($4,250).
Although tuition fees are much lower than the US or UK, Paris is regarded as one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in. Accommodation is particularly pricey, so living on campus could help you save.
