Laurier Scholars Award

  • The prestigious Laurier Scholars Award is an annual entrance scholarship that was established in 2021 to offer high-achieving students the opportunity to participate in a dynamic learning environment that will foster innovative thinking and ethical, visionary leadership. Seven students will be selected to receive a $40,000 entrance scholarship. The Laurier Scholars Award includes $7,500 per year for up to four years and an experiential learning award of $10,000.
  • Amount: CAD$40,000 over four years

Inspiring Lives Scholarships

  • Several scholarships are awarded each year to incoming international undergraduate students who inspire lives of leadership and purpose in their communities and through extracurricular activities.

Entrance Scholarships

  • Entrance scholarships and awards are available to students entering their first year of a full-time program at Laurier who have no previous attendance at post-secondary educational institutions. You must be registered full time (2.0 credits minimum per term) to receive the full entrance scholarship amount and you must be registered in two terms within your first academic year. At Laurier, an academic year is from September to August.
  • Amount: Up to CAD$6,000

President´s Gold Scholarship

  • If your average is 95% or higher, you will be awarded with the President's Gold Scholarship, which is worth $4,000 (increasing to $6,00 CAD in fall 2024), for your first year at Laurier. If you maintain the eligibility requirements, you will receive another $4,000 per year for four years.
  • Amount: Up to CAD$6,000
