  • Applicants who have received a Cambridge English Language Assessment certificate in one of the following levels; Cambridge English – First (FCE), Cambridge English – Advanced (CAE), Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)
  • Graduate applicants who have completed at least two consecutive years of post-secondary full-time study or completed a bachelor's or first master's degree at a U.S. institution
  • Graduate applicants who have completed a degree in a country where English is the primary language and this degree is from an institution where English is the primary medium or instruction
  • Applicants who have successfully completed an equivalent of B2 level on Common European Framework Reference (CEFR) for undergraduate and C1 level on CEFR for graduate programs through an approved English language school

  • Required for Transfer: Course-by-Course Evaluation of foreign college transcripts, and, General Evaluation with GPA for foreign high school transcripts

International Undergraduate Scholarships and Grants

International Undergraduate Academic Merit Scholarships are offered to international undergraduate students to encourage academic excellence and student leadership at Mercy College. Scholarships are available to qualified freshmen and transfer students seeking a bachelor’s degree.

Presidential International Scholarship

  • Requirement: GPA 3.5–4.0 (in U.S. 4.00 system)
  • Average amount: $5,000 per year

Mercy International Scholarship

  • Requirement: GPA 3.00–3.49 (in U.S. 4.00 system)
  • Average amount: $3,000 per year

Mercy International Grant

  • Requirement: GPA 2.5-2.99 (in U.S. 4.00 system)
  • Average amount: $1,500 per year

International Graduate Scholarships and Grants

Graduate Business Scholarship Program

  • Amount: US$6,000. For students who have an undergraduate degree cumulative GPA of 3.5 to 4.0
  • Amount: US$3,000. For students who have an undergraduate degree cumulative GPA of 3.0 to 3.49
  • Requirements: Students must be accepted to the MBA program or the MS in BUsiness Analytics. Will be granted based on the student's undergraduate bachelor's GPA. There is no separate application required. Applicants are automatically considered for scholarship upon admission to the program.

There is a limited amount of scholarship money available and scholarships will only be awarded while scholarship monies are still available.
