Spearfish is a small town in the US state of South Dakota and is home to Black Hills State University. I am studying in Spearfish. It is a very beautiful city with a lot of mountains and friendly people. I really love how organized, calm and clean the city is. There are a lot of coffee shops and pretty places you could go and explore or do homework.
You could also go skiing and hiking a lot due to the fantastic topography. I feel it is really safe and the roads are smooth and well organized.

Because we live on campus, the security is guaranteed, the staff and the people are very enthusiastic about us. The dorm is very quiet and clean. I love that.

I feel totally safe here, Spearfish, cause it's really peaceful and cozy. Everyone seems nice to students here. There are nice and close places that we can buy stuff. It only takes about 10 minutes by foot, so we don't have to worry about the transportation, actually. There are several coffee shops here, and they are really good. I hope they could just open their shops until a little bit later.

Spearfish is a VERY small town. Don't expect a full American experience here. They don't even clear the snow. Winters are extremely cold with lots of (uncleared) snow. There really isn't much to do or explore.

It is a small and safe city. It is a romantic and beautiful place. However, there is no public transport which is a minus point.
