      I feel very safe in Graceland University as it is located in a small town in Iowa, “Lamoni”. Since the first day I arrived, I have felt very welcomed by the whole Graceland Community although I am an international student. We do not have big school parties as there are no fraternities in Graceland, but the parties are decent and with close people from the University. Apart from Subway, Pizza, Amish Food, and Gas Stations, there are not many shops in Town. However, the whole Graceland facilities provide you with almost everything you need.

      Tell us about Lamoni
      Lamoni is a small town in Iowa with about 2000 people. 1000 of those residents are students attending the university. To say I feel safe here would be an understatement. I have been blessed with a one bedroom apartment, which makes my living arrangements (expensive) but far more ideal. This town is cute. Main street is comprised of two gas stations, a local farmers market, pizza hut, and dollar general which pretty much sums up the entire area that I'm living in. The people living here are all very friendly and kind. It's small, but I wouldn't want it any other way!

      I feel safe is a small town and also i felt very welcome to Graceland. The only bad thing for me us an international it is that there is nothing to see in Lamoni and if you dont have a car it is difficult.

      That’s the only complaint I would have because I am myself from a bigger city and the university is located in a small town and that’s something that I’ve had problems adapting into.

      Tell us about Lamoni
      Lamoni is a small town. It has it up and downsides. The upsides are that it is quiet and safe. Downsides are that might be too quiet for some people. The nightlife is limited to some locations. Additionaly, since Lamoni is a small town there are no fancy restaurants or places to go. It is very much what you make out of it.
