      The city is safe. Everyone is very welcome. There is a lot of things to do here to have fun besides going to school. Also, for students that can not afford transportation, the school provide a free pass to the bus during the school year. The mall, Walmart, Piggly Wiggly, Target, are great places to shop.

      Appleton, Wisconsin, is a cool city to hang out. It is perfect for a short vacation and enjoy with the family and friends. It has many cool stores and restaurants around the city. It might be considered a safe city, however, as an international student, I didn't like many things about the city, first, the bus network was awful because they have a tied schedule and did not function on the weekends, so, how an international student can go to the lake if the bus doesn't get there, how can you visit many places in the city if the bus doesn't function on the weekends, how can you have nightlife if there are no buses at all. The fact of transportation was awful for me, so the best solution for that problem was to make friends that can give me a ride, perhaps, this was my biggest problem with being in Wisconsin. Also, the city is considered the second drunkest city in the USA which makes the place unsafe to drive and for night walks.
