What Sheridan College says about their program:
"Canada has a growing demand for skilled welders, and Sheridan offers some of the top training in the GTA. You'll get in-depth hands-on education in current welding techniques — working with the most current technology — and study the theory at the same time. Learn shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).
Our one-year program gives you the chance to earn certifications with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). You may test in three welding processes in the flat position to obtain up to three licences. Tests take place on campus, which means testing in familiar surroundings. Sheridan welding students get a discounted rate, making this one of the most affordable ways to earn welding certifications.
Experience hours of hands-on learning in labs that mirror the professional welding workplace. You'll learn from the most highly certified welding faculty of any college in the Greater Toronto Area. Sheridan instructors bring decades of industry experience into their teaching. Small class sizes mean you'll get one-on-one mentorship with these instructors to help you succeed in class and at work."

The following programs will have a reduction in tuition, effective for the Fall semester, for all students/levels on a full-time basis. The reduction will be reflected in the Fee Estimates:
All new international students beginning their full-time postsecondary studies in Year 1 (Semester 1) will receive an entrance scholarship
Many international students will require a visa to study in Canada, and this is a vital step in your study abroad journey. Make sure you understand the requirements you may need to meet before applying.
