  • An undergraduate degree or Ontario College diploma of 2 years (4 semesters) minimum in any discipline or equivalent.

English proficiency waivers

  • Successful completion of English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Academic Preparation (EAP) at an Ontario Community College, University, or approved pathway language organization. Students using this option are not eligible for Pharmacy Technician, and applicability is based on exit marks.
  • Successfully completed three consecutive years of study at the secondary school (high school) level in English in a country where English is a primary language (four years, with graduation diploma are required for Pharmacy Technician).
  • Completed one full year of study (within the last 2 years) in an accredited post-secondary program in English in a country where English is a primary language (not applicable to Pharmacy Technician).
  • Obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or Canadian provincial equivalent) and English credit (Grade 12 C) issued by a public or Catholic school board.
  • Provide proof of graduation from one of the authorized Fleming College pathway partners (not applicable to Pharmacy Technician, and post-graduate applicability is based on marks).
  • Completed three consecutive years of study at a secondary private school in Ontario and received an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and English credit (Grade 12 C).

Global Merit Based International Student Scholarship

  • Amount: From CAD$500 to CAD$2,000
  • Requirements: Awarded automatically to an international student based on their GP (Grade Point Average in the first semester of their Fleming diploma or graduate certificate as well as on the overall length of their program of study.

East Asia Academic Excellence Entry Scholarship The award will be credited upon success completion of the first semester and registration in the second semester at Fleming.

  • Amount: CAD$1,250
  • Requirements: Awarded to an international student from China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, or Singapore who has achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (equivalent to a PTE Academic score of 59- 64 or a TOEFL score of 60-58) or above as well as a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 75% or above from high school, college or university.

Africa Academic Excellence Entry Scholarships The award will be credited upon successful completion of the first semester and registration in the second semester at Fleming.

  • Amount: CAD$1,000
  • Requirements: An international student from East Africa who has achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (equivalent to a PTE Academic score of 51-58 or a TOEFL score of 60-78) or above as well as a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 60% or above from high school, college or university and / or an international student from West Africa who has achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (equivalent to a PTE Academic score of 51-58 or a TOEFL score of 60-78) or above as well as a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 60% or above from high school, college or university and/or an international student from Southern Africa who has achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (equivalent to a PTE Academic score of 51-58 or a TOEFL score of 60-78) or above as well as a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 70% or above from high school, college or university.

Latin American Academic Excellence Entry Scholarship The award will be credited upon success completion of the first semester and registration in the second semester at Fleming.

  • Amount: CAD$1,250
  • Requirements:Awarded to an international student from Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana (département of France), Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela, Cuba, Dominican Republic, or Haiti who has achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (equivalent to a PTE Academic score of 59- 64 or a TOEFL score of 60-58) or above as well as a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 75% or above from high school, college or university. The award will be credited upon successful completion of the first semester and registration in the second semester at Fleming.

South Asia Academic Excellence Entry Scholarship The award will be credited upon success completion of the first semester and registration in the second semester at Fleming.

  • Requirements: Awarded to an international student from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Pakistan who has achieved an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (equivalent to a PTE Academic score of 59- 64 or a TOEFL score of 60-58) or above as well as a GPA (Grade Point Average) of 75% or above from high school, college or university.
