"Sheridan's four-semester Practical Nursing diploma program is approved (Category 1) by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). When you graduate from this program, you'll be eligible to apply to take the Canadian Practical Nursing Registration Examination (CPNRE). When you’ve successfully completed the CPNRE, you’ll be issued a license to practice as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario. In this program, you’ll learn to: Help clients with nutrition, elimination, medication, safety, ambulation and hygiene. Chart patients’ progress and assess their conditions. Care for wounds, change dressings and give medication. Educate clients and promote health and wellbeing. Care for patients through all stages of a disease, including palliative care."

The admission requirements are different for each Sheridan program. International applicants must meet the course equivalencies of the Canadian admission requirements.

Fees and funding

  • Undergraduate tuition - From CAD$17,987 - CAD$35,897 per year
  • Graduate tuition - From CAD$18,237 - CAD$32,905 per year

Bachelor Degree Entrance Scholarship

  • Amount - CAD$2,000
  • Requirements - Eligible students who are entering the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programs. This scholarship is to recognize international students with high academic achievement who have obtained a GPA average of 75% and higher.

Post Graduate Certificate Bundle Scholarship

  • Amount

    CAD$1000 scholarship for 1st the first post-grad program starting in Sept 2021 and CAD$1000 Scholarship for the 2nd Program in May 2022.

  • Requirements

    An applicant must meet the admission requirements for both programs. In case an applicant meets the requirement for one program only, then the application will be considered for 1 program only, not the bundle.
