Admissions Requirements

Postgraduate academic requirements

Applicants are normally expected to have an undergraduate degree at 2:1 or equivalent. However, the strength of your creative practice and other forms of experience will be taken into account.

Postgraduate

English proficiency waivers

You do not need to complete an additional English Language Test and you will be able to use your original degree certificate to prove you meet the English Language Requirement if you’ve recently completed a qualification equivalent to a UK degree in:

Fees and funding

Funding

Internal Progression Scholarship £300 cash scholarship to students who progress directly from one of our UAL Extended Diplomas or a UAL Foundation Diploma in Art & Design onto a three or four-year undergraduate degree in Autumn 2022 at Arts University Plymouth.

Alumni Progression Award 15% discount on MA or MFA program's fees for Undergraduate, Pre-Degree and Foundation Diploma in Art & Design graduates, who go on to postgraduate study with the Arts University Plymouth.

Short Course Progression Award 10% discount on MA or MFA program's fees for anyone who has completed a Short Course with the Arts University Plymouth

Scholarships of up to £2,000 per year may be available for international students, subject to eligibility and availability.
