With the Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) program at the University of Utah, you will be prepared to pursue a wide array of fields concerned with social, environmental, and economic aspects of society. Students pursuing the major may choose one of three emphasis areas: Commercial, Community, & Sport Management, Outdoor Recreation Studies, and Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality Management. University merit scholarships at The U provide funding to help cover a portion of or all tuition and mandatory fees for students enrolled full-time. Based on unweighted, cumulative GPA at the time of application. The President's Scholarship award is up to $14,000 towards tuition for each academic year.
