"For you, deciding between car, bus or train is ancient history? Are you interested in sustainable ways of getting around? The Master's study programme New Mobility - Micromobility provides a study programme in a growing and future-oriented subject area.


The Master's programme is aimed at engineers from a wide range of disciplines as well as designers who are enthusiastic about materials, locomotion and lightweight construction. The study programme offers the best professional conditions thanks to the special expertise in lightweight construction and fibre composites, which has been part of PFH in research and teaching for years. In addition, you will apply the knowledge you have acquired during your studies to practical, "real-life" projects.


As a graduate of the New Mobility degree programme, you will be involved in the development of mobility solutions and will be able to use your knowledge to understand mobility concepts and evaluate them."

Admissions requirements

PFH's International Office is the reference point for all matters relating to international study program, partnerships with universities abroad, study abroad and teaching and research exchanges.

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification with focus in the program of choice
  • Non-related subject degree holders may qualify for admission through one semester foundation program

English requirements

TOEFL iBT: 86 IELTS: 6.5

English proficiency waivers

If your Bachelor’s was taught in English, the English requirement can be waived.

Fees and funding

In order to recruit the best students to the University, the PFH has launched several scholarship programs for campus students, which not only provide financial relief, but also offer particular prospects.

With the qualification, PFH also provides you with a job guarantee: they will return a part of your tuition fees if you have completed your course within the standard period of study, but have not found a suitable job within nine months of graduating.

Funding

Deutschlandstipendium/Germany Scholarship

  • Prospective students and all students of all nationalities of the PFH Private University of Applied Sciences. You must be enrolled at the PFH by April 1st or October 1st and for at least two more semesters within your standard period of study at the beginning of the funding period.
  • Scholarship sum

    €300 per month for a period of one year

DAAD Prize

  • The DAAD Prize has been awarded for over ten years now and aims to put a face to the many international students at German universities and link them with their stories. Having been a recipient of the DAAD Prize can be of great advantage when beginning a professional career.
  • Performance-oriented scholarship. Able to apply from the 2nd semester of your studies
  • Award amount

    €1,000 (one-time)

STIBET-Programme

  • The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) funds the STIBET-Programme with funds by the Federal Foreign Office.
  • The International Office of PFH offers scholarships for study completion and scholarships for social engagement to qualified international students of PFH.
